Susan L. Scott

Susan L. Scott is an associate with the firm. Her practice focuses on education, labor and employment. Attorney Scott counsels boards of education and municipalities in matters involving policy development, special education, collective bargaining, union grievances, civil rights, contracts, freedom of information and an assortment of student and employee issues. She has represented clients in a broad range of administrative hearings as well as litigation in state and federal courts.

Before joining the firm, Attorney Scott was a trial attorney for the Office of the Public Defender in Providence, Rhode Island. She also served as an attorney for the Rhode Island Disability Law Center where she represented individuals with disabilities in civil rights, employment and special education matters.

Attorney Scott is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Attorney Scott received her legal education from Boston College Law School (J.D. cum laude) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., double major, urban studies and political science).
