Zachary D. Schurin

Zachary Schurin is an associate with the firm. He represents school boards, municipalities and other public sector clients across Connecticut on a broad spectrum of labor, employment, and education law issues.

Attorney Schurin received his legal education at University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D.), where he was awarded the Connecticut Bar Association's Labor and Employment Section 2008 Scholarship Award along with the Fleming James Jr. Award for Excellence in labor law. Zachary Schurin was an editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and is the author of the recent note "Monkey-Business: Connecticut's Six Billion Dollar Gorilla and the Insufficiency of the Emergence of the ADA as Justification for the Elimination of Second Injury Funds", 7 Conn. Pub. Int. L.J. 137 (2007). Attorney Schurin is admitted to the practice of law in Connecticut and before the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.

Attorney Schurin received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College (B.A.).

He practices in the Hartford and Bethel, Connecticut offices.
