William R. Connon

William R. Connon is a senior member of the firm. Mr. Connon has 34 years experience advising and representing Connecticut boards of education regarding employment and education law matters, including special education law. Mr. Connon is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Connon has a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and received his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. Mr. Connon is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association - including membership in the Labor and Employment Law Section and the Education Law Committee - the Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Council of School Attorneys and the National Association of School Board Attorneys. For ten years, Mr. Connon served as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Connecticut's NEAG School of Education, teaching a course in school law to graduate students. He has lectured on school law topics to graduate students at Southern Connecticut State University, as well.
